The Planning and Zoning Board/Local Planning Agency conducts public hearings on proposals to zone or change the zoning of property, matters related to the comprehensive plan, the platting or subdividing of lands and the master plan for the physical development of the city. The Board is an advisory board to the City Council; decisions are passed on to the City Council for final approval.
